Our February meeting will feature speaker Craig Olsen, who will give a talk about “The State of the Woods of SE Pennsylvania.”

Craig is a Naturalist and the Director of the Peace Valley Nature Center in Bucks County.

A very interesting, interactive program is planned and he will discuss these topics and more.

-Alienation From the Natural World
-Challenges Facing Our Local Natural Communities
-Invasive Species
-How we can live in harmony with nature

Many people seem to understand and are concerned with global issues (which they should), but tend to forget or not know about local issues unless it affects them directly. Awareness of local issues can then lead (hopefully!) to solutions. We have more control over what happens here.

Craig is a Humanist who lives in Bethlehem, PA.
